U Dirty Dawg is very excited to announce that we will be offering Obedience Training Classes once again starting in 2012.
We have recently teamed up with Indy K-9 Kollege of Beech Grove and Trainer Joanne Peavler so that we may offer a class that is conveniently located to the folks that live in Greenwood.
With your participation and enthusiasm, we hope to add more classes and a larger variety of classes to fulfill the need of dog owners in this area.

Basic Obedience and Manners
6 weeks: $95
A fun and motivational program for both dog and owner, this class teaches you and your dog HEEL (walking next to you without pulling)
The dog will also learn sit, stand, down, stay & come. In addition to these commands, we will help you with many household behavior issues such as JUMPING, BARKING, BITING, CHEWING, POTTY TRAINING AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!
What Should You Bring
TREATS Bring soft treats that will really motivate your dog. These can be purchased in our store.
COLLAR & LEASH Bring a 6 foot leash (not a retractable leash) and the collar your dog normally wears on walks. The trainer will recommend another collar if needed. Training collars and leashes are available for purchase in our store.
FAMILY MEMBERS Children over the age of 8 and other members of the household who are interested in learning and willing to participate.
YOUR DOG It is best if you don't feed him/her right before class and make sure pets have a chance to potty prior to arriving for class.
Joanne Peavler
Hi, I am the owner and one of the Instructors at Indy K-9 Kollege. I have been training dogs for over 15 years officially. Ever since I was a child, I've been training dog for the fun of it, nothing official.
Currently, I have had 4 Golden Retrievers and a pug. I have AKC Obedience Titles on two of them. "Doc" is retired now at the age of 13. He has his CD, CDX and CGC through the American Kennel Club. In addition to his titles, he has been able to compete in National Tournaments and even appear in some TV commercials.
I am also a certified AKC Evaluator for CGC and am working toward being certified by Delta and Therapy Dogs International.
I enjoy talking to people everyday about their dogs and want to help people keep their dogs forever. I have taught Puppy, Basic, and Intermediate/Canine Good Citizens classes.
With my experience I have been recommended by many veterinarians in the Greenwood area and felt the need to offer my services closer to the Greenwood area. U Dirty Dawg has offered their facility in order to bring my services closer.
